How in the world does anyone cheat at bullet games?

I just got my rating refunded after they detected a cheater who beat me in a 1-0 bullet game. Honestly, even though I hate losing, I am impressed that someone could move so fast and consult his computer to beat me. In a way, he still earned his win haha. That must take some real skill, I would love to see someone do this in a youtube video.

They use chess bots, or computers that directly play for them, so they don't have to spend time looking at analysis and playing the moves themselves.

There are verified bot accounts on lichess that do this legally.

@Serial_Checkmater Why on earth would anyone want to do that? What joy do they get just running a bot, and letting it terrorize everyone? What would they learn?

The next move is displayed on the board and the player can choose to play it or not.
You could play yourself the first 10 - 20 moves and at the end of the game win by nearly always making best moves.
And not using a lot of time too.

What's with people nowadays? Heaven forbid they actually learn how to play chess! They just enjoy being brainless robots playing the computers moves in a bullet game. A game where there is no thinking or analysis, just playing as fast as possible, and humans always screw up terribly in bullet. Bullet games are hardly educational, it really makes no sense to me why they would go through all this effort? Is it for that little dopamine hit, to feel like a winner? SMH.
