I’ve noticed tha, when u draw a match, sometimes you get 1 point, sometimes zero? How does it works?

each player gets 1/2 a point, no matter rating, whatever. 1/2 each. but if you're in a tournament, say, and you only need 1/2 a point to hold onto your position in the tournament, and say you're in first place, you'd be happy with a draw because you win the tournament.

@sailorand If you're talking about rating points, it varies by player. That is, depending on each player's rating and how many games they've played, a draw may net each player a different number of points. In fact, if you draw someone much higher rated, you may go up more than 1 point.
If you're talking about tournament points, a draw almost always gives you 1 point, unless it is within the first ten moves. This rule is in place to make it harder for players to agree to draw quickly in order to get more points.
