How do i reach 2000 rapid on lichess??

@Yashas_God

You're so close, I think all you have to do is just keep playing and you'll hit the right streak. Sometimes things just fall into place - people play into your openings , you feel sharp, etc... I think if you just set aside some sessions when you're well rested and can concentrate, you'll hit it.

Also play in Rapid Arenas where people sometimes beserk against you. They are willing to accept a free handicap. Use that to your advantage.

You can play a -2000 rapid arena

arenas are the worst for rating pushing. Too many cheaters and smurfs

don't ask me. I got there once, four years ago, slid back down and never returned.
it seems like a dream, forgotten
if lichess didn't keep reminding me, keeping records of it, I would never remember
should have bought a souvenir, sent a postcard

what should I focus on?

Study topics that you dont know until you get good at them. Then find another topic you dont know.
Rinse and repeat.

How much time should I spend
Depends on how serious you are. If you want to get 100 points or so. About 2-3 hours a day for about 3-4 months.

But its kinda hard to gauge, improvements are achieved very fast the lower the rating you have. But the higher you get, you have to study for a ridiculous amount of time for minimal gain. And you have to keep adding the ridiculous amount of time just to maintain it after.

I think that for 2000 elo in fast, it takes a lot of effort to endure 15-20 minute games, but also to get extra out of it.
however, with 1650 I would say that it is possible in a special case, with many games played. I think the best recommendation would be to learn some interesting openings that would not complicate your games!
Good luck!!
