I am too lazy to look for it on my own so could a good Samaritan that already knows about that stuff tell why the heck one would need/want to make a bot account ?

assuming that he/she follows the steps on #2 and not coding his own bot because that I could understand you are developing a program and want to see how it fairs against real players but if I understand #2 then you just use somebody else's code to play as a bot via an account you made which I cant understand at all
