How can I resign?

How do I resign a game?

How do I resign a game?

You click the resign button (flag), twice, unless lichess.org/account/preferences/game-behavior#confirmResignationAndDrawOffers is disabled.

This.

Also, one does not have freedom to resign so do not resign when you want. Resigning can lead to account ban.

I don't know, why so many dislikes. I got a warning for resigning. Even after appeal, the decision was not changed. That's why I thought I would warn beforehand. But if people are fine with getting warnings and ban, then I cannot do much.

You've got an insane number of games where you resigned after less that 6 moves, so I'm not surprised that you got a warning for it

You can check these games and you will find a similarity in them. I never resigned randomly. I only resigned when i blundered position mostly because of mouse slip. I say I blundered position because I have played such games to the end many times before, and I have lost in majority of them. So I decided to resign if I end up in these position to avoid wasting of time. I have never resigned consequently to manipulate rating. You can check these games, most of this will have exactly same position.

This is impossible to differentiate from rating manipulation

It is possible. Check if this happened consequently.

If someone intentionally does this every game then it can be termed as rating manipulation. These game happened at different times (even separate days). Mostly it happened because I premoved or mouse slip. If I was doing this every game then I was sandbagging. If I had to manipulate rating, why would I resign one match to lose a little points and win/ lose next games. I would still get the opponents in the same range in the next games.

Check my rating graph too, it does not seem one bit like rating manipulation. It fluctuates within a certain range.
