How best to use Chess Insights???

Hi - I like the Chess Insights, but it's a bit overwhelming. Is there a guide/FAQ regarding the best way to use these Insights for improvement?

I'm slowly working my way through Silman's Amateur Mind book and feel like I'm understanding the game a bit more, but these Insights have quite a lot of stats to them, it's a bit overwhelming...

Thanks!

Steve
I don't think there's anything really valuable to be gained out of insights other than checking which phase of the game you need to work on.

For example, you might be interested in seeing which openings you struggle versus. Another example is maybe you want to see what types of endgames you struggle in. You can filter for Average Centipawn Loss by Piece and filter for endgame.

Insights won't help with developing strategy and tactics though. At least with understanding what phase of the game you need to work on, you have something to build off of.
Thanks, I'm not necessarily trying to use it to develop strategy or tactics; moreover, just trying to understand what's the most efficient way to use it to improve.

I appreciate your example, that's very useful/helpful. Thanks!
I don't know about whether there's anything in insights that helps you improve per se, but what I usually look at is what openings I have trouble with. From the start, click on "What is my win rate with my favorite openings as white". Then in Filters tab, you probably want to filter out the time control, and maybe remove opponents that are much stronger/weaker than you, or maybe only look at the games within the last 2 weeks. You can also switch between white and black.
