I've heard a lot of GMs who've had interactions with Hikaru seem to dislike him. I've never met him, I don't know, and I don't care, I literally don't care.

Related to @Pulsifier's post, chessbae was thrown under the bus over it and a few people have come out and talked about how toxic chessbae behaved towards them. I only heard one side of the story.
Chess streamers have appeared to kiss and makeup with Hikaru after the strikes were removed. As far as I know, chessbae is still on the outs but I haven't been following gossip lately.
