Frustration

For all of you who may have misread @BirdBrainf4 's last post. When he said girl, he meant Japanese love cushion with a picture of Sasha Baren Cohen on it. Before he responds lets give him a 3 minute break to take his Viagra pill. Are you good now @BirdBrainf4 . When a man of your calibre i.e. below 2000 complains, it just proves your weak. Get back to Sacha he wants to be filled with your special sauce.
@PawnRavager, I would dignify your response with a qualified dissertation, but I wouldn't want to detract you from your anime porn stash. No one knows who Sasha is anyway - probably just a cartoon pin up on your Justin Bieber fanboy wall.

It must hurt to think I give a crap about you and your anime stash anyway. I hear unthink is looking for a cuddleboy - maybe you two can play with each other's pieces.
I'm here to play chess. I'll say hi in classical games, and we can analyse/talk afterwards if you so please, but most of the time and especially in faster time controls I'm just looking to kill your king ;)
Today the thesis is in full effect...my last one was a pretty good player, and we went 1-1, and on the third game I was winning and made an awful blunder. He got it and left - in half a second.

Chickenshit. These guys don't know the meaning of good game. Vast majority at this point.

And if you have a problem with me venting over it, then so be it. At least you will invest effort to talk in a forum, while you leave the game without even a GG. Pathetic.
And another - just leaves after an interesting game, in about a second. Win or lose, there's not even a goodbye or good game. People are too focused on the game and have forgotten about the common courtesy of a salutation.
Don't be too strict on the players.
Some of them are very young , others play a game or two dead tired after work , others have 10 open windows on the PC , others don't understand the language... In many cases ,something happens and they leave the game or log out quickly.
Remember , it is a CHESS site , not a communication server. And the savoir vivre you are searching is rather difficult to find...
It's okay, just general frustration for years with many in the community. I am already seeing some positive discourse from players who are of like mind, and who are open to discourse at longer time intervals.
You should try corespondence... impossible not to talk... you have the opponent for weeks...
I have heard that the forum is a great place for pleasant discussion of chess topics. Yes, that was part sarcasm, but it was my planned response after reading your original post, so I'll stick with it. Anyway, I do believe that most people are here simply for the chess, and while salutations and discourses are good, most people don't use them here because they just want to play chess. I almost always do a "Hello, Good luck" at the beginning of each game, and most people don't respond. But it doesn't really bother me, because it is, after all, a chess site.
