Stockfish suggests Kc6 as quickest way to mate but table base suggest h7+ as it immediately resets 50 move rule.

Please upvote this as it can get it fixed.

Thanks!

"What is DTZ?
DTZ means distance to zeroing of the counter for the 50-move drawing rule. Syzygy tablebases do not aim for the fastest way to mate, but rather for the fastest way to make a winning capture or pawn move or give mate. This can be a bit unintuitive, but it allows perfect play (with regard to outcome) even under the 50-move rule."

What is there to be fixed? The table base shows DTZ "Depth to Zeroing-Move", i.e., the number of moves to the reset of the 50 move counter. It doesn't "suggest" anything; it just lists which moves are winning/drawing/losing. Stockfish uses it to figure that Kc6 is the best move here.

But, wouldn't be nice to get the fastest mate line first? Sometimes stockfish fails or takes lot of time to figure it out while table bases already have it ready.

Or may be if we can have option to sort moves by mate would be good!
