Hi, I am noticing that the Elo ratings at Chess.com are skewed compared to Lichess. Players at Lichess.org have a higher Elo rating than they would at Chess.com.

Your rating shows how strong you are compared to a certain pool of players, so ratings will be different on different sites. Also, Chess.com's ratings start at 1200, while Lichess's start at 1500.

I believe this has a lot to do with the issue. The Elo ratings at both Chess.com and Lichess are skewed due to the starting Elo of 1200 and 1500, respectively.
You can make all of your ratings start at 1800 on chess.com...
But they don't by default and that makes all the difference.
Come on guys. The fact is, chess.com uses Elo and Lichess uses Glicko2. Different sites, different ratings.
Chess.com uses Glicko, not Elo.

That's no longer true. Starting ratings can be between 800 and 1800.
Different sites, Different ratings.
However, more or less, lichess.org ratings is about 200 points higher then chess.com.
