Hi guys,
I'm thinking in creating a chess league for low rated players with different divisions, you can go up and down depending your results. I saw you can create tournaments but I don't know if it's possible to create a league with classification and so on. Is this possible with the software or you have to do it manually?
Tkanks in advance.

By far I created the team, waiting to work out how to do it.
https://lichess.org/team/low-rated-chess-league
This is the place in where we can join to participate in a regular chess league with 3 different divisions. As we know there are many leagues and tournaments, but this is aim to low rated players (<1700) to just have fun and learn and help to each other.
There will be 3 divisions depending your rated level when you join first time. Every 2 days at 22:00 (Madrid time) will have up to 3 games of 15m+10s. The first season will last 2 weeks, and would start next Friday april 24th. In each division will be up to 20 players, and depending your score you would progress between divisions.
Division 3 (<1200)
Division 2 (1200-1500)
Division 1 (1500-1700)
We'll work out how to do it. The games will be unrated for the first testings.
I hope this idea woul attract you. Every nice and polite people are invited.

Thanks to you Will, and welcome to the team. We are 3 members so far and growing! I'm getting information on how to organise it, and realising there are other tournaments between teams for low rated we can join as well.

Well, I now have more clear the organisation of the league. Here are the instructions.
Although the arena tournament don't have a restriction of the games that can be played, only the first 3 ones will take into consideration, so after the first 3 games have been played you can stop the arena, or can play just for fun but it wont count for the general clasification.
Every 2 days (starting next Friday) there will be a sesion with 3 rounds of a 15 minutes + 10 seconds game each. The first season of the league (as a experimental prototype) will last 2 weeks (9 sesions and 27 rounds). Wins will get 3 points and draws 1 point, and the winner of the Arena will ad up 3 more points. To stand in the classification board you need to complete at least 50% of the rounds (14 games). The clasification will be host on a public google doc because the arenas will show another point system.
In case we may not have enough people for the 3 divisions, we'll join the 2 other with more registers, but I hope this is a success and we'll have enough people (apart from it is open and for sure the hour before people will see the tournament in the lobby and join it, even without reading this).

Well, definetely I had to reduce the league to just one division so far. I also discovered that it is better to restrict it to members of the team, so I can check the ELO before and there wont be any problem if you increase the ELO meanwhile. I myself couldn't join the tournament before. Lol.
Now everything is fine.
Please join the team first:
lichess.org/team/low-rated-chess-league
And also join the tournament. You can join it already. I thought you have to wait one hour before, but it's avealiable already.

I also have thought that due to the numbers of members of the team, we can increase to five to seven rounds. Well, as this is kind of experiment the first round as lichess is limited to arena tournaments, and there is not option to Robin or Swiss that would be the best option, we just play during the two hours a sensible numbers of mathes and we well see if we should stop at 3,5,7.
Thanks a lot!
