Hello all!

I want to play blindfold games to help me get better at remembering the board. I remember when I signed up it said not to create multiple accounts, but I'd like to have a separate rating for blindfold games (I will obviously be much worse). Is a moderator able to give me permission to create an alternate blindfold account, or is there another way to separate my ratings so my blindfold games don't ruin my "real" rating?

Also, anyone have advice for playing blindfold?

Everything is about being reasonable, one extra account to play blindfolded is reasonable. Just dont abuse it.

Just start to playing blindfold classical/rapid tc there is a bunch of website out there to improve your calculation and blinfold skills. @caasinehc

Good to know, thanks! If any mods see this, please let me know if this is okay. I think @pendru is right though it seems very reasonable. Of course I won't abuse the blindfold account. Just want to make sure I'm not breaking any rules :)

You can have a blindfold account. We would prefer it if you mentioned in your profile description that it is a blindfold account, or even better, make it obvious from the account name already (for example: caasinehc_blind).
You should also make sure to really keep that account to blindfold only.

It's ok to have a blind fold account, i have one. Make sure you include at least the word "blind". E.g my blind fold account is CliveBlind

Good to know, thanks for the input everyone! As you can see I made sure the name includes "Blind", and I'll put it in the profile description right after this.
