Create multiple Lichess accounts at once for "new to chess" players.

I use Lichess Classes to create student accounts.
I need to create many accounts but can I control how much rating they start with?
40 Kindergarten and 50 first graders, they are new to chess and I do believe 300 points of rating should be appropriate.

Best,

OscGar

I don't think there's anyway you can do that. Just instruct the students to play 10-15 games. And they will lose most and get an appropriate rating

Yes, that's what I normally do but after they lose 5 in a row they start to hate the game.
And if they only play with each other, the problem is that the rating they get is not real, when they start playing with other players they get very disappointed, even lichess thinks they are losing on purpose.

Make an account then lose on it then give the account to the student
Maybe

You are looking for https://lichess.org/class , I belive that already starts them at a lower rating (1100 instead of 1500) too. The minimum rating on lichess is 600, so 300 is not possible.

And if they only play with each other, the problem is that the rating they get is not real
An option here is to play casual games.

I had no idea it existed
