Hello everyone,
is there any convenient way to compare ratings of the two players in time?
Thanks in advance!

@rwmmir what do you mean? if we are talking recent players you can look at their rating graphs... but there are no known ratings for someone like Morphy, only speculation
All the best
But let's say I want to compare my progress with yours. Then is there a better way to do it than opening your and mine profiles in different windows?
If you are a Lichess teacher then you can create "Lichess Classes". Then you can compare progress of the students in the class. Comparison can be done over a different number of days etc.

#4. this may not be exactly on topic, but have you come across hints about how the ratings are assigned in time and compared between players with different gaming schedules? do these curve follow the "instantaneous" rating (updated by game outcome)? I assume that the simplest way is the definition of day's end at lichess server time zone. Then some rating trajectories can be easily defined. And probably that is enough for teaching feedback.
but off topic, I have started a thread about weekly distribution curve for the lichess user-base ratings, where someone observed updating of the data shaping the curve within the day (as I did not see the weekly total population size change, hopefully i did not misunderstand). Each day the weekly active population changes, but it seems that ratings values within that population that gets updated in the curve display, can be updated at faster pace.
I have a clue of a function definition in the JavaScript code that I could follow to source code on github. but if you are aware of a more readable documentation or digest in some of your past readings let me know. thanks.
