Chess.com VS Lichess.org Beef?

The charity? I do not think a charity has the capacity to like or dislike something.
No, rather Lichess the chess server.

I wish that were true and lichess would accept UI redesign contributions.

I personally prefer Lichess to Chess.com for one feature in the settings - choice to confirm each move 'cos I'm sight impaired, 75 years old and prone to making blunders. This feature has saved me on several occasions from making blunders. Chess.com does not have this feature. Even though I've written to them and they have replied that they will consider it as others have also made the same request, so far it has not been implemented. I also appreciate that Lichess is run by volunteers and dislike Chess.com for its monopoly.

You could just make it into an extension like prettier lichess

Redesign contributions are liked or disliked by the lichess developers, not by the charity.

This is why I was asking in the first place: Who is lichess? The players who play on lichess? The developers? The moderators? The charity? The website? Depending on what you mean by "lichess", the answer to the original poster's question may be completely different.

I am pretty certain it is the communities of both websites.

My opinion on all this chesscom vs lichess thing is just use what you like, you can use lichess or chesscom, or both, I don't really mind. What I do have an opinion on ( a strong one ) is that which one is better, but I use both for their advantages, lichess for most things, playing chess, analyzing my Games, preparing openings, etc ,while I use chesscom for its vast variants, streams, and the occasional game with a bot.

I created yesterday a new account on chess.com and played 12 games (i forgot to change the statut) then i started to elo 400.

12 différents players (elo 400-980), i reported 11 and this midday when i connect, got 5 messages for give me points (because they ban 5 players who played against me). I took the free week for analyse and i can tell than elo 400 until 900 play better than 1600 on lichess (to 400 you learn and just know move pieces).

Unfortunaly Chess.com is more big and more "full" about support but because of them offers, they focus on quantity of players and not quality and for continue to sale you have to keep an important communauty then "allow" cheaters.

Definitely i prefer Lichess. Less player but you can find a better quality in the communauty then in games => It's better for really improve your level.
Concerning myself, i play since June there and i have never as much as improved my game on this website
And i never been as much as digusted of chess after some games on chess.com.

(i don't know if my sentence is correct, sorry if not i hope you will understand the idea :) )

Lichess rassembles a community, people who work or play on Lichess. I think the answer is all of them. It all depends on what people do with it.

Btw, sorry for pinging.

I play on both sites, on lichess I usually play chess and on chess.com I mainly play variants.

there is no conflict between Lichess and the green site, the difference is that on Lichess everything is free and administratively Lichess is a non-profit charitable organization, Lichess organizes various events and offers FREE educational materials. the green site is a company, a business, where there are people in suits and ties playing Elon Musk but behind computers and with a chess site. Dear
Elon Musk, please sacrifice 15 million dollars to buy the green site, if you make this modest little gesture of investment, you will spare us the fatigue that it represents for us to write on the forums about this. don't worry about us, Lichess works fine without you Elon, but the green site needs your help because we never want to hear about this green pawn here again.
Greeting with the Hope than somebody will take this as a joke
