Without paying, you don't get much. lichess is better.
Lichess also never has ads. When you are playing chess on chess.com, the ads can be very distracting
Everyone says time is more valuable than money, I spend 1 minute trying to find someone to play a game of chess on chess.com but I spend a few seconds finding a game on lichess.com.
@KKevinW Sometimes even I have this problem. I'm rated around 2000 in chess.com and I have to wait for around 15 seconds to get a 3+0 game. On LiChess I get a game in less than a sec. I thought I was the only person who had this problem as everyone praise chess.com big userbase

The game finding takes way less time in lichess. I have to agree.
It takes me tops 3-5s to find a 1+0 (or for that matter, any quick match time setting) on lichess. It takes 15-30s normally on chess.com...
Yes. And the ads are really distracting. Lichess is better as it has no ads. And I don't even know where to look for a variant game like Crazyhouse or whatever.
But why is it so @SavageAntarctican since chess.com seem to have 170,000 online players when LiChess has 80,000 online players??
