Chess.com has much nicer boards and piece sets. Lichess boards and especially the piece sets are really bland, have no depth, and look like paper cut outs.

That being said, lichess has a nicer UI.

In my humble opinion lichess , as it has better cheat detection and i have faced issue of abandoning games when opponent is loosing very less and lichess has a ad free clean interface
