It seems that arena chess and Scid vs pc are probably the most popular free chess programs available at the moment and I to think that they are great tools for improving but I always get some free program and then see some other one and realise that the new one I saw is much better. So I end up installing ,uninstalling ,deleting ,reinstalling ,downloading etc.I first download the chess v+ , then that was too hard for me so I installed 3D chess game without bothering to delete the chess v+. The computer would always crash when I would play against the computer on 3D chess game so I deleted that and installed the chess lv 100 and that worked quite well for me but over time I realised that I wasn't using would like to get it right this time and not have to do the installing ,uninstalling ,deleting ,reinstalling ,downloading cycle again for a long time.
Anyone who would like to share their opinion ,especially if you have either of these programs ,feel free to leave a comment and give your opinion. That would be very helpful.

Hi QEDemonstrandum. In a chess program I would like the ability to : 1) Store all my games on a database. 2) play agaist an engine. 3) test out new engines that i download. 4) make engine vs engine tournaments. 5) to analyse some chess games. 6) to analyse certain chess positions. Those are the main features that I am looking for. I would like to switch to arena from lucas chess as I think more engines run on arena than on lucas chess ( "test out new engines that I download"). What do people think of this thought?
