Chess on phone vs computer?

Is it better to learn to play chess using the computer? Or do most people learn using the app on their phone?

I think it's better to learn with a "real board" and a book.

Computer is best for playing/learning as learning on computer is better because wider screen. When playing, on mobile it is more difficult to assess the situation on board rather than computer, which is easier.

Good point! I started practicing on a real board a few years ago and have been working through some beginner books, Pandolfini and Dan Heisman. But when I went online to actually play people I realized how terrible I am and wondered if it’s easier to learn with a computer than the phone. I’ll try it and find out :)

computer is more good if u play fast games

I use mobile for bullet and ub but not the app, I use lichess.org as the app is a bit laggy. I play slower games on my pc. But it depends on you.
