Usually that happens if the person has the position open in an analysis window and starts a computer engine running.

Maybe people have browser extensions on their computer that open a LiChess analysis window automatically. It could be that they start it accidentally. Who knows?

If it happens, LiChess forfeits the game for them, and if they don't do it again, they can go back to playing chess as if nothing happened. In other words it's just a warning.

This is possible if your opponent used the computer or the book as assistance. Your opponent violated the Lichess terms of service.

considering that u were beating your opponent (until the last move where you threw your knight) he/she probably accidentally had the anaylsis board open on another tab and forgot about it
