Lichess doesn't has a max rating for your information.
Too, there are very very very few players who've reached 3000 rating that's why no one has ever reached near 4000.

It does. Gary locked the max rating on 161660 As it was his peak so no one can go higher

no account; It is a joke on reddit. but seriously for now we have no upper limit; but In a clone of lichess (chess-academy.net) there are ppl over 4k rating

i also dont think that any people can reach 5000 and as lichess rules and regulations i dont think there is a limit of rating

Online chess ratings are way higher than real OTB ones.
So, it can go any high in online but in OTB one cannot go beyond 4000 possibly.

Very few people have rating of 3000+
Note from Google: Magnus Carlsen has had the highest rating from a human on lichess. His account is "DrNykterstein", peak was 3336 in bullet

It is quite difficult to reach 4000 because you get less elo the more elo you have.
