Black Lives Matter

Could someone explain to me the goal of the protests? What do they want to happen? I understand that they want justice for racism, but how are they expecting to see that fulfilled?

What do they need to have happen for them so that they stop protesting? Fixing racist police brutality isn't going to happen overnight.

@Developmentals you are right, it isn't going to happen overnight. You are very correct. But staying home and doing nothing is going to make it NEVER happen. They had to do something eventually.

#808 I think they'd settle for any peaceful means, if society is capable. If I suggest one solution, people will point out the flaws of that solution, so I can't get any more specific than John Oliver already was last night.

Yes but what do they need to stop protesting, get back to work, and try to put the world back under order. Do they need all police abolished? That's definitely a bad idea. What can possibly be done to quell them from resorting to violence and anarchy?

Trump is going to stay in office no matter what. If he loses, he is going to blame it on the election being rigged and somehow will overturn the result. I don't think this is going to impact the election at all.

I think this is going to continue until a solution is implemented, and these trends stop occurring.

I do not support the violent protestors who are destroying businesses.

What really upsets me is the fact that those Antifa and BLM extremists were destroying statues and preaching hate like they did in the past too.
