I don't wish to be obnoxious towards the lichess team. I'm really very grateful for everything that lichess offers. But in reference to the real logo redesign, (not the April fool) I can't help feeling that that it is not nearly worth 100k. I feel like a fraction of that sum could be paid perhaps to an independent artist, with much more aesthetically pleasing results. Not that it really matters ultimately, the lichess folks do an excellent job with providing a place to play, study and learn, and it should be their free choice to spend their money however they wish. Still, wank logo for 100 grand. All due respect and that.
