It seems that if you cheat you must self report and then pay a fine to lichess.

Cheaters only hurt themselves.
They basically admit to themselves that they can't be good with honest study and prep. Hope they remember that when they go to sleep @ night......
They will always know they weren't good enough to improve honestly.

I'm sorry to say but this whole thread was made as joke to trap cheaters. If it worked on your friend then I hope they learn, as mentioned above by the esteemed likes of @drSabrotna, @ThunderClap @Monist @IsaacCondor, that cheaters never prosper and karma always catches up in the end.

I now have people accusing me in game chat of cheating and their evidence is this thread and the fact that I'm a lichess patron! https://lichess.org/MyZA9V8x/white They say the Universe doesn't have a since of humour, and whatever is said sarcastically will come back and bite you literally.
