I am learning this opening as well. At 1750 I tried this opening and my tactics were really weak. It wasn't until I reached 1900 and studied tactics to have a better understanding of how the game is to be played.
As I am practicing, the Benko, I game across the line:
1. d4 Nf6
2. c4 c5
3. Bg5
None of the studies I watched talked about this line. It would be interesting to know if the line has value.

Well, the goal is a better heavy-piece endgame. You have to explain quite a lot.
given you strength pondering about benko gambit is bit early. I found it easier to pick opening that do not allow compressing my position in the center. Answering d4 with d5 is the move that does not get you in the trouble all the time. As for line you were ponderign Bg5 is just a bad move so obviously opening courses do not cover that. Bg5 leaves weak point in b2 and Qb6 exploits that. You can use lichess analysis window press the book picture and see what other have played. Make sure you have master database selected to study moves master pick on such positions. Obviously Bg5 wont be there. for that you switch to lichess database from there you can see that black has over 60% chanse of winning the game on this site.
You can go to Analysis Board and look it up
I have written 2 volumes of the Volga gambit. This gambit is interesting, although there is a share of risk , nevertheless it is possible to play this opening
