Bad people.

Take backs are lame, the mouse slips, shit happens...

Sniveling is worse...
Anyone who has played more than a few games online has lost points due to mouseslips. It's part of the game - however infuriating.

Your opponent doesn't owe you anything... just take your own opportunities when you get them, these things even out.

PS. in my experience it seems much easier to mouseslip if you click to move pieces. Try dragging instead
What #8 said.

In RATED OTB games, noone allows you to take back moves either.

If you play for points, don't whine about points.
@ojb my experience is the opposite while dragging there is problem of accidental release. While click-click and aim for the centre works for me. So different thing for different people
@petri999 For me I often accidentally start a drag when I meant to just quickly click and move my mouse. But that makes sense - it's whatever works for you. OP should actually look into why they are mouseslipping and try to reduce that somehow
I also drag with very few mouse slips. If I have some lag at the same time as I move I slip sometimes but it's so rare its a non issue.

I don't allow take backs. I also don't feel the need to decline a take back which usually leads to the person who blundered just sitting and waiting for the clock to run out. I'm not going to waste any of my time to deal with your mistake especially during a bullet game.

If chess ruins your mood, play less. I find I lose the majority of my games, even if I win on time I was behind in position or material. It's very rare for me to actually really win a game. I understand I will usually be on the losing end so it doesn't effect my mood anymore. For most people I think this will be the case, there are so many good players that started very young it's very difficult to break into that winning league. Also if you have a talent for chess you will know early on and these will not be issues.

Online chess is never fair, you get used to it or find another hobby/career.
I have the opposite experience, guys demanding take back and being rude in chat (which I'm not) until they run out of time
