There are PGN files for most books in various locations on the net.
I've created studies for some books. Top level pointer to those is here:
https://lichess. org/study/ac6JRqJk/M07w8eHx
These are without the annotations of course. The idea is to clone the studies, annotate the games, and then compare with the author's annotations.
So far I've created studies for
- Logical Chess Move by Move, Irving Chernev
- Three Hundred Chess Games, Dr. Siegbert Tarrasch
- Masters of the Chessboard, Richard Reti
- Your First Chess Games, A. J. Gillam
- A First Book of Morphy, Frisco Del Rosario
- Simple Chess, Michael Stean
