Anyone Use Chessify?

I was considering signing up with them (at the cheapest level xD) for a bit just to get some repertoire worked out. But I don't really understand what you get for your money, there is talk of 'coins' and 'minutes' and it's all quite unclear to me.

Has anyone signed up for their cloud engines, before? How does it work?

Alternatively, anyone know of cheaper cloud engine subscriptions that give comparable speed? Anything like 25,000+ kn/s on Stockfish 11. I don't care about Lc0.

Yeah, I didn't understand any of that either!

I did some more playing around, and I got the impression that their engine speed numbers are inflated. I used their free analysis board a bit, and it was saying that I was getting like 22,000 knodes/s even though it was running much more slowly than my chesstempo's engine, which usually runs at like 800-1200. It wasn't a scientific experiment or anything so I'm not saying it as a fact, but I'm completely confident.

Somebody else should see if they get the same result. Atm I would recommend steering clear of chessify.

@afluffydog that should be easy to test, put the same position on here and note how long it takes to get to a certain depth, then compare to the same position on chessify and see if the supposed node speed is correct.

@afluffydog on lichess my laptop gets around 4500-5000 knodes with 5 CPUs
what about others?
