Anonymous Game Behaviours

I play anonymous bullet on lichess a lot and there are some kind of behaviours from opponents that i don't understand. We can't chat like logged in users so these type of things should be some way of communicating, i don't get it so this is why i am here.

For example the last game i played, i had a smothered mate, after i sac my queen, my opponent started to give me a lot of time, 30 seconds to 6 minutes or something and they resigned. Is this some kind of anger issues or what? And it happens more at rematch thing. If opponent offers me a rematch and i accept, they don't start the game but they just increase my time. You can chat with opponent at anonymous game before the game starts, sometimes they say "You too", then i get it, they want a longer game, but then why did you choose bullet, 1+0? After seeing my bullet play, you decided to see how you play against me at blitz? Generally i just do nothing when they add me time, they don't write anything, they add me time, i don't, we wait 30 seconds for absolutely no reason, and they offer rematch, i accept. Again same thing, with white i play first move but they just wait for 30 seconds, and offer rematch. There are some players do this with not adding time. They just do nothing and then rematch offer. This sequence goes like 10 in a row or something. We are both stubborn. They know i want to play, they give me hope, i wait and we never play again.

And there was one opponent i remember, they just add me 30 seconds or something, then i go crazy and decided to add time, when their time becomes more than 5 minutes, they start the game. I had to play like 1.5 minutes to 5 minutes, kind of odds game or something. They rematch again and again and they start to play only if i add them time more than 5 minutes. That was kind of interesting. I lost all the games obviously, our strength was similar.

And there are some people just like this, if i offer them rematch first, they decline immediately and offer rematch themselves. Can't you just accept yourself? Do you have to be the one that offers?

And another behaviour, after the game ends, opponent immediately offers rematch, cancels it, again offers rematch and then cancels it (You can't offer rematch more than 2 times.). That happened to me before just like 2 times, kind of a brainslip, i mean i didn't want to offer a rematch, i was trying to go for a new game but accidentally realised that i offered them rematch instead of pressing new game and panicked after pressing, then pressed the button 4 times. But my opponents do this way lot more than me. So does it have any meaning?

And one another, after game ends and usually that happens after opponent win, they just go to analysis board or just f5 and write "Good game", "Well played" or "Thank you" 2 times. You can only write 2 times if you don't refresh or go somewhere else and come back. So they just do this and try to fill the chat with nonsense GGs multiple times, 15 or 20 times for example. Why do they do this? Are they so happy that they win? Kind of a celebration? What is this?

These are weird behaviours and i think there are couple of more that i can't remember now. If lichess allow us to chat, communicate with other person these type of problems will be less i think. If they curse, at least i get it they are angry. I can't report them because they are anonymous but we know the feelings at least. But these things? I don't understand generally if they are making fun of me or they are just mad for some reason.

Just stop playing anonymous

Just stop playing anonymous

People behave weird when anonymous on the internet? Whoa, who would have thought.

I don't see a point in playing anonymously at all. You don't have a rating, you get opponents all over the place, nobody has an incentive to finish a game or behave appropriately. I mean, a registered account is still pretty much anonymous, as long as you don't put your real name in the profile.

You are just witnessing what happens when there are no restrictions or punishments for one's actions.

It's like playing Casual...potentially you're just asking for much goofiness.

Looks like both players were willing to play that nonsense. And neither player wanted to claim 3-fold repetition on move 4 or 6.?
