The Version 2 is not updated in Android , And there is no sign of update in Google store !
It's not an update to the app, only the website. You can no use your browser to access lichess on your phone, instead of having to use the app.
And how about the app , there is no version 2 in it , or it's comming soon ?
There is no current plans to upgrade the app to V2. It's for the browser only.

I tested the website on my Kindle Fire HD 10 and Google Pixel 2, both work great and are feature complete in landscape and portrait modes. Love it.

they made the browser look like the phone , and when opening a lichess url it will not redirect you , thats the best thing.
Redirecting to the app from the lichess url has always been optional @moha369 .
No @Tacticaccount ... i remember when opening a forum or any url that the app is not designed to open url it opens the app not the browser
I tried the site on my mobile, and I liked it so far.
Anyone knows where in mobile browser is that "Online friends" popup which I see at the bottom right in my computer browser ?
