I'll be visiting Amsterdam with my wife in late September and I'm looking for chess related places to visit. The Max Euwe Centre and the Chess Museum are obvious. I'm not going to play chess there, but I'm interested in anything chess related. Any recommendations?

I've visited the centre. A mini museum devoted to Euwe's career with friendly staff. There's usually a few people playing blitz. Plus a collection of donated chess books for sale at reduced prices.

Well, I recommend to not get high prior to playing a game.

if you do get high, make sure to hang your leg out the window at the street side cafe. Last two times I traveled to Amsterdam I saw someone doing that each time. Must be a thing.
