AI Level 2 vs AI level 3

I'm new to chess and have been playing against the AI, and I was hoping someone would explain to me why there is such a big jump in difficulty when playing against level 3 compared to level 2?

The ratings assigned to the different levels of the computer are just guesses, and computers (and handicapped computers) don't play at all like humans in the first place. So I wouldn't look too hard at the rating.

There’s a 300 points difference between each Stockfish level which is why level 3(1400)feels a lot tougher to play against than level 2(1100).
