The 3rd Lichess Bots Championship is starting soon. Week 1 will be 16-22 August UTC. If you want your lichess BOT to participate, it has to post at lichess.org/forum/team-lichess-bots-championship/participants-of-the-3rd-lichess-bots-championship before August the 12th. Please only join the tournament if you're willing to complete it.

You don't have to be available on the 16th, you have a week to complete each round/match, please take a look at the rules of the tournament: https://lichess.org/forum/team-lichess-bots-championship/rules-of-the-3rd-lichess-bots-championship.

Information about the rounds will be posted on the Lichess Bots Championship Team forum and results and questions can also be posted there by participants. I hope to see you on the team forum, where information can be found about the previous Lichess Bots Championships as well.

Come see some of the best chess bots and some fun lesser strong bots compete for the title. All kinds of bots are welcome, diversity is encouraged. It is nice to see different playing styles and not only the winners gain fans by participating. All bot accounts can participate in the tournament (also ones that don't use an engine, so gather some friends and play together as a bot).

When the tournament starts, there will be pairings for week 1 and participants will start contacting each other to decide when they will play their match. I will add their results to the double elimination tournament bracket and will then announce the pairings of week 2. This will continue until the final has been played.

The team forum at https://lichess.org/forum/team-lichess-bots-championship provides more information about the tournament and what happened in previous editions. Unfortunately there are no prizes, please look at lichess.org/forum/team-lichess-bots-championship/ajile to see why. The goal is to stay in the tournament as long as possible without getting eliminated twice. Only bots can participate, but humans can also play moves on bot accounts, so you don't have to use an engine. Да мне честно сказать то игра ботов мало интересна. Бот не мыслит как человек и красоты игры там нет как таковой. Редко когда можно насладится игрой ботов с разнообразием ходов далеко от теории. Как правило, это позиционная тягомотная игра где все решает 1 или 2 сомнительных хода.

@Darklight-81 А зачем сюда пишешь? Топик не называется "Интересна ли вам игра ботов?". Наоборот, хорошо, что тут для всех находится место - и для топового блица с Магнусом, и для крупнейшего соревнования ботов. Никто не заставляет его смотреть.
@azelev написал ты, а стыдно мне. Клавиши Caps и Shift вообще заклей на клаве, используешь не по назначению. И сообщество читеров, которых можно встретить на 1500, практически не пресекается с этим чемпионатом, и банится лучше, чем на других крупных сайтах.
И вообще, хватит отвечать на русском в английских темах.

@Darklight-81 Игра ботов интересна тем, что в некоторых моментах можно поломать голову над тем, почему бот так пошел.
@azelev Осталось очень мало читеров, многих банят в первый же день, и обычно читер играет хуже чем бот, т.к ботов ставят на мощные компьютеры, как у меня например, AMD Ryzen 5 стоит. Какой-нибудь читер с 20летним компьютером гораздо слабее многих ботов!

Пока ты будешь голову ломать, зачем Бот так пошел, у тебя время кончится. Единственный шанс свести в ничью с ботом, это сушить игру в закрытой позиции. Идти во все тяжкие в тех же 10 минутках и открыть все, это равносильно сдаче сразу! И в чем интерес? Красоты игры никакой, тупо сидеть сушить и закрывать? Ну да.....
