365chess.com introduces "engine analysis" LOL

First there are cached evaluations. These are displayed with a font size 8px, no eval bar beside the board thank you, so it took quite some time to figure out where the evaluation is and still you need a magnifying glass.

I tried hard to find a position which was not cached, finally a managed and all of a sudden I found myself in a login page, no evaluation, no analysis, please login first.

I feel like I made a visit back into the stone age.

@jatekos This is available at chesscom ... 365 days a year?
The title is confusing.

@mdinnerspace @jatekos
The title is confusing; the post is confusing; and it seems to have no purpose whatsoever other than to say chess.com

Wish they'd just block any attempt to type chess.com so these posts would stop.

Notice I did not type the site with a Dot. Usually refer to it as CC.
@DollaHollaAtcha ... you promoted the site twice !!

Yeah not typing the site with a dot disguised it well. I had no idea what site you were referring to.

chesscom - never heard of it.
chess.com - oh the really laggy bad chess server.

Thanks @mdinnerspace for going out your way to ensure you did not promote it.

365chess.com is an opening explorer, not chess.com... I know because I look up openings there

This means Let Me Google That For You.

We now have the internet and unlimited and instant access to information, yet in a thread I mention a site, which should be known to chess enthusiasts, but at least it is googleable and I get all kind of accusations that belong to the dark middle ages when people had no access to information.

FYI:

https://www.365chess.com/

opening explorer from which the screenshot is:

Also I have received a letter from 365chess.com introducing the new engine analysis feature, so this feature is genuinely new and this thread carries genuine new information.

I only wonder if they took the effort to develop engine analysis, why they hide the result fromt their users in 8px fonts, that is all.

This reminds me of how some databases are capable of sending emails, or document software capable of playing pinball and a flight simulator.

Because if there's one thing I needed to know about openings, it's whether the magic number is +0.1 or -0.1. /sarcasm
