Yes, the draw by repetition does not require the moves be consecutive, only the position be repeated 3 times and at that point either side can claim a draw.....but you have to claim it. It is not automatic.

@tpr I really don't know the depth of the rule.. but, it has to be in a row isnt it? and if in a game, the same position repeats itself 3 times, but in move 5, 18, 36 for an example? will it be a draw? sorry for my bad writing skillz

No, it doesn't have to be in a row. If the same positions appears three times at any point, it is draw.
