Positional Analysis

Hello everyone!

https://lichess.org/h6kYdirR/black#49

What would you play in the above position and why? Does anyone have better option other than what I played?
All responses are welcome.
Thanks

You were completely winning. Your 25...Nf3+ is fine. Follow-up 26...d4 to open the diagonal for Bb7 may be more precise, but what you played was winning as well.

Rxc3 is the interesting move I suppose...
Rxc3 bxc3 Nf3+ gxf3 Bxc3 skewering Queen and Rook...not sure what the evaluation would be....

forget that I think black loses a piece...

Rxc3 is fine.
Ne6 after bxc,
C-pawn will fall, passed pawn in the centre and 2 bishops.

Happy sailings.

i played what you played. seems ok.

I like the flair of both Nf3+ and Rxc3.

Since the question is what would I play, I tend to be slightly more conservative. I enjoy watching a good sacrifice, but I'm reluctant to play them myself. I need to get over that. :)

Nb3 seems like a safer move that will force some quick exchanges that look beneficial to black.

Yes, watching a sacrifice is much more enjoyable that playing it. 😂😂

Bro,
There is a pawn on d5 blocking the Bishop's diagonal....

Right. I missed that. So there is no immediate checkmate on move 28.
