Whenever I copy and paste a game into the .pgn window, it loads fine. I can walk through the game with the analysis. However, when I go to check out a variation line from the engine, it only shows one move.
Then it shows "....Loading Engine" with the dots blinking perpetually and no moves are listed.

Same problem. "Loading engine...." goes away, comes back, goes away, comes back.
Is my computer set wrong?
My favorite part of Lichess is the after-game analysis, to see the moves I should have made instead of the knucklehead ones I did.
Help, please.

Next day, I've tried using a different browser to access Lichess.org.
No help. Same "Loading engine...."
At first was using Opera, now have tried Chrome. Game started normally, analysis worked for the first ten moves or so.
Then back to "Loading engine...."
Post-game analysis is important to me. Can someone suggest an alternative to Lichess, please?

For now I have to resort to programs like SCID vs. PC on Linux and Tarrasch/Arena 3.5.1 on Windows.
For those who can help out, here is a screenshot of the problem. The engine stops evaluating when you go back and try a variation. This where the problem occurs I think.

This problem of "Loading engine..." happens on my Win 10 Pro desktop in both Opera and Chrome.
I've just played a game on my Chromebook. After about 10 moves in Analysis, the dreaded "Loading engine..." appeared.
It ran for a half-hour before I gave up on it.
I can't believe the problem is on Lichess's end or you'd have millions of unhappy customers. It's just a few of us, and it happens with different operating systems and different browsers.
What could the problem be?
This isn't a minor complaint. Without analysis, our games don't improve. I love Lichess, but can't stay with it if I can't use Analysis.

They might be testing that updated Stockfish 12 and ironing out the kinks. What's disturbing is we're not getting any feedback from the developers at Lichess to explain what's going on. That's the least they could do is come on in the thread and explain the situation. The silence on this issue is deafening. Something is going on and the lack of transparency is telling me Lichess is pulling some sheninghans without telling us why they're doing this. Much like the much debated rated range formula change in game seeks.
