can't black just take it and play Nc6 and follow up with Ne7 to castle
white doesn't really have any pieces out then, so black should be save on the kingside

white does have compensation but black should be better i think

edit: if he doesn't take it it's just worse i think becuase white get's another attacker for free.

I suppose what they are trying to point out is that you require your minor pieces and if the bishop takes it would temporarily stop the king from casting. It has a similar idea to the standard wing gambit. It seems to be a losing move in the long run, I wouldn't play this in a rapid, maybe if I was feeling a bit braver in a super blitz. Still, its not as sound as you might think.
