Hello,
Someone recently asked me to analyze their game and I thought that was fun. Here's the study I created with the game and analysis:
https://lichess.org/study/VmYBT9sl
If you send me your game, I can analyze it for free and include it in that study. I also developed a statistical software, ChessRx, that produces a simple report that can help diagnose problems in your games. I can also provide that report (also free)--this uses all of your rated games, not just the one game I analyze. See an example report here: https://sites.google.com/view/patrick-coulombe-phd/chess-analytics/chessrx/chessmadness19
****** Here's how it works:
- Just paste a link to your game in this thread
- I will try to give advice you can transfer to all your games, this is about strategy/positional chess/planning, not about pointing out tactical errors--you can use an engine for that
- Game needs to be rapid or classical time control, variant = standard chess or chess960
- No guarantees in the quality of analysis or how useful it will be to you (or even that I'll pick your game in the first place), but if I analyze your game, I will give it my best
- If there's something particular you want me to address in your game that's been a concern to you (e.g., finding a plan in a given position, endgame, etc.), mention it when you post your game and I will do my best to help with it
This is all for fun, I want nothing in return but great conversations and maybe even some improvement :)

hi
appreceate your work
Would you prefer an uncommented or a self-commented game?
Would you prefer an uncommented or a self-commented game?
Well, here are four of the games I've drawn or lost over the past week that seemed the most interesting -- feel free to take a look at any one you'd like and I'd be very appreciative c:
I'm happy to comment with all my own thoughts as well if you'd prefer that.

@bugcat2 very cool, I'll pick one and take a look at it :) It's up to you whether you want to annotate or not, though you might find the exercise challenging and fun :) if you do we'll compare notes

@bugcat2 The diagnosis produced by ChessRx based on all your rated games is available here: https://sites.google.com/view/patrick-coulombe-phd/chess-analytics/chessrx/bugcat2
I analyzed the first one you gave here:
https://lichess.org/study/VmYBT9sl/58BrQDuv
I put some big-picture takeaways at the beginning, to me what stands out is that you should use moves to get out of pins/bring your pieces back to action, and you should get your king out of the action or shelter it with pieces.. We can talk about the game if you want, and also the analysis isn't set in stone, so if you have feedback let me know, and also let me know if you came up with an analysis of your own :)

I'll make my own analysis before looking and we can compare c:

@Patrizsche Here are my thoughts on the game before reading your analysis.

Not sure how you embed a study.
Edit: Oh man, can't believe I missed the pawn fork again in review. Also, I felt for that poor knight on the edge ;__;
I could never seem to find time to take him back in again...

@Patrizsche I enjoyed your insights a lot!
Now I can see this game is the tale of a comedic duo: the knight who won't return to the centre and the king who won't flee to the edge~

@bugcat2 that's so funny, I love the label you found for this game, the "comedic duo" of the central king and the edgy knight
I took a look at your analysis, I found it very interesting and sometimes we diverge in our assessments.. for example at the end I thought you were lucky to get away with the draw :) I wish I could reply to your comments directly in your study
Also, as for embedding the study, I did it accidentally, I pasted the link to the study chapter (not the link to the entire study, as you did)
