Hello,
I guess like everyone, after our parties of chess, we make the computer analysis to check the ways we could improve our game.
Sometimes, I see than one simple move allows the point of: "Check Mate is now unavoidable". That's fine sometimes, but many times the checkmate is more than #10, even #15. However, they are not "forced" movements, they are kinda "natural" movements (I mean, they are not forced: check, now I thread checkmate, now I thread again, bla bla; Instead, they are like: Now I eat you one rock, later one pawn, later one neutral movement, later we change bishops, bla bla)
I guess the computer calculates all the ways the contrary team could improve before avoiding the checkmate, and it takes the extreme situation (in movements) to can say the max movements before checkmate.
Me, when I'm playing in this kind of checkmates, most of times I make movements which keeps the 10 advantage but I lose the forced check mate; at least until the contrary surrender or allows me it again with less movements until checkmate.
I wonder if someone is able to see than it will be checkmate in these 15 movements, or at least, in the next 10 movements.

As long as lines are generally natural moves, it's normally not too hard to more or less follow them. As for me when I do follow them, it's not because I saw a mate in 12 but because I keep playing the best-looking moves.
