Lichess Meetup: Montreal

Chess is often played in parks. It's nice to know that a chess player is in a particular park, and ready to play.
If only we could know where the locations of the large chess set are or public chess tables are permanently set up in cities.

Where I live, during the summer, there's a giant chess board at the "Parc Saint-Frédéric, Drummondville". Some players install their own chess sets and play in the afternoons. The large pieces are there, but not always available and obviously not during the night. There was a time when chess players played late at night, but that's been over 5 years since I last saw that. Maybe one day we could meet at night again.

Which cities have giant chess sets or chess tables? (Show a picture and a location if possible.)

Meet the Lichess team and convince them to bring back your favourite feature?

Has lichess been planning this by making insane feature deprecation lately?

I did a search using the words: chess tables in canada parks
Since I grew up in Vancouver, I clicked on these two links.

There was a baseball movie called Field of Dreams and during the movie there was a whisper: "If you build it, he will come."

That whisper is now in my mind. I think cities should build chess locations. Then chess players and spectators can meet there.
A park in Montréal may have a giant chess set some where, but I don't live there to know where they are. So someone must link it so others will know about it.

Only the local chess players around the world can say where they meet to play chess. Keeping it silent, does not help the chess communities.

Just in case you want to be tourist and visit the city, looks like the following metro stations will be free on weekends:
Saint-Laurent, Place-des-Arts, McGill, Peel, Champ-de-Mars, Place-d'Armes and Berri-UQAM.
