Next time, please announce it at least 2 months in advance.
I'm sure a lot more people living farther away would love to book a quick ticket to drop by and say hello.
I, for one would've certainly made travel plans if I had known earlier.

pre covid there were usually 2-3 a year. Usually one In North America and one in Europe. Sometimes a third in Europe if a number of team members were planning to attend a major chess event.

We had hoped to announce a few weeks earlier but got very busy and still had to finalize a few details. So there will be more meet-ups in the future hopefully one near you.
