A geriatric millennial, I was pretty good in school/club chess when I was about ten. Got a stupid and entirely undeserved high BCF rating from fluking a few rated wins.

Gave up for some time but have been on and off again for about 16 years. It's more important to understand and enjoy chess than get better at it.
