  1. Svendra sort of advance French were we both lost a tempo (f3-f4 and c6-c5)
  2. makeareason (10) Not exactly what I wanted to play today, but at least I got something I'm somewhat familiar with-this Ne2 french which is not so bad
  3. makeareason (15) Actually both captures are interesting, with Nxd4 I'm just keeping the positional edge while with cxd4 I'm forcing the N to a6
  4. makeareason not that counts for something, cause with Nb4-c6 it gets quickly back in play and I have to waste a move like Rd1 to prevent Bb5..
  5. Tirojevich Tempi @Svendra
  6. pulsar512b Huh didnt expect the fantasy
  7. makeareason (17) I think it's harder for black to play here...his pieces are placed weird and the king doesn't know where to go...while I have
  8. makeareason (the simple plan of going g4 and break with f5
  9. makeareason (18)He basically admitted he made a mistake by playing Bc6 a move earlier, the idea is Bd3 I guess, but I gotta be better after Bx Nx Qf1
  10. makeareason (19) Oh boy f5 is like a candy I can't resist..keeping is king in the middle and just sac everything to mate him, gotta calculate now
  11. makeareason Actually I don't have to go for the craziness, with a4 b4 I'm winning a piece if I'm not mistaken
  12. makeareason Nosense...no way I'm winning a piece, but maybe a pawn...back to f5 now
  13. makeareason (20) Yup the board is on fire, after exf Nx Be2 Qd5! Bxd1 Rxd1 sacrificing a whole rook for the attack
  14. Lanoc What about Rd8 instead of Bxd1 in makeareason's line?
  15. makeareason He didn't take the bishop interesting....
  16. makeareason Didn't expect it
  17. gattican Yeah, it seemed like black should be hanging on to me even with Rd8 at the end of the line. But yeah, right after Qxd5 seems even better
  18. makeareason 22. the e pawn is poisoned imo, Qh5 and Rae1 seems to much for black to handle...
  19. GamePerFrame Wonder if he regrets it lol
  20. GamePerFrame Pretty much just assuming e5 is poisoned without seriously investigating it
  21. gattican Still looks like a good position, just a pawn down right now and black's king is pretty loose
  22. makeareason (25) I'm refusing to believe he's surviving this
  23. GamePerFrame 0-0 cannot be right... The king seems safer on e8
  24. gattican Definitely
  25. GamePerFrame Yeah... not suiciding with ...0-0?? and playing the position normally.. black seems better.
  26. MoiRon 25... f6, Rh3 Rf7?
  27. GamePerFrame Probably want f5 instead of f6, due to only having a DSB
  28. makeareason Bh6 and taking on e6 seems crushing, just checking for some cheap tricks if there are any
  29. GamePerFrame Even now black has a small disadvantage - I can't find anything immediate for white but.. an exchange is an exchange.
  30. GamePerFrame Bxd4?? 1-0
  31. MoiRon why not just taking on a2 on 29
  32. gattican You could but then you'll lose e6 I think
  33. makeareason (30) a very nice variation would be Rb3 Qa5 (Qd4 Rb7) Re6 Qa2 Rxg6+! hx Qxg6 Kh8 Rh3#
  34. MoiRon mate after Rxe6 I think: ... 29. Qxa2, Rxe6 Qa1 (Qb1) mate
  35. gattican Yeah but you dont take it immediately, first double the rooks on the e file
  36. gattican Then you have the back rank covered
  37. MoiRon indeed but then b2 also falls with passed pawns on a and b but probably too dangerous attack then
  38. gattican Maybe. But I think if you get e6 you're probably going to end up mating somehow
  39. gattican H4 h5 now?
  40. MoiRon I'm really not sure because d4 will also and blacks queens can help defend the. So 3 against 1 pawn in that line
  41. gattican Maybe so. Moot point now
  42. makeareason (47) Ok I'm pretty sure I'm winning now, I had to concentrate for a little there
  43. makeareason (51) Rd4 is a very nice move..completely dominating the knight because Nd3 Rxd3 exd a4 and pawn is rolling baby...Only move would be Kf6
  44. makeareason That's it...I'm justing pushing the a pawn to the promised land..if h4 i shouldn't take it..that would be bad haha
  45. makeareason exactly...
  46. makeareason very interesting game
  47. Isachess gg nice win make
  48. GamePerFrame GG
  49. makeareason thx isa
  50. makeareason I knew in the opening that Nce2 is wrong
  51. makeareason But i wanted to enter into that variation that i play in the french so bad
  52. makeareason c5 and black is better
  53. makeareason @Svendra why you didn't take the bishop on 20...exf5
  54. sanganakam gg
