This was a nice win against Crazy_Eight as black. I defended well early. Then I was much better before I slipped 22...Qxe3 instead of Nxe3. Nevertheless, I managed to win on time and punish the berserker!

At first I thought I would post one of my wins against much higher rated opponents but I'd say I actually like this game more. Good moves, good win.

One mistake, but mistake.

My fifth-rank king turned from a liability into an asset thanks to a miscalculation.

Here is a cute little mate in 6 sequence (not completely forced but the actual game went just as I envisioned going into this line with 23...@f2+), including tactical motifs like -in order of execution- interference (23..@f2 to cut queen's connection to f3 for Nxf3+), deflection (after @f2 Ngxf2, N is distracted from defending h2), attraction (26...R@g1+attracting N to capture it, freeing up the h-file) and finally clearance (27...h1=B+ clearing the square h2 for the Queen).

Few additional notes: if 27.Qxg1 instead of Nxg1, 27..hxg1=Q+ 28.Rxg1 and here it would be crucial to start with 28..Qxh3+! instead of the natural 28...Q@h2+, to get a N in hand but more importantly, to clear out the 2nd rank: 29.Nxh3 Q@h2+ 30.Kf1 N@d2+ 31.Ke1 Nxf3+ 32.Kf1 Qxg1+ 33.Nxg1 R@f2#.
