Lichess Antichess Game of the Month October — Contest

Hello @WhyDoIPlayHere

The game I want to submit is a game with 1. e3 against one of the best players of all time @neverplayfastanti during the titled october arena. He too was surprised (he was streaming lol).

Eh, tbh the deadline is over already (it was the 7th on 23:59 UTC). But there are not too many submissions this month so I'll accept this one. And if someone else wants to post their games too, do it until 23:59 UTC TODAY. After that it will be closed

Hello antichess enjoyers! It's time to announce our winners again so here we go.
This month is special because we have separation not only according to ratings but also according to openings (1. e3 and non e3 games). All the winners are totally new faces!

*There were not enough non e3 submissions in <2000 rating category so instead of <2000 and 2000-2200 it will be <2100 and 2100-2200.

[NON E3 WINNERS]
Under 2100: @kdx2a
2100-2200: @Burger_Nam
2200+: @bwmtone with his unique 1.h3 game where the only inaccuracy is just h3 itself

[E3 WINNERS]
Under 2000: @ew-pawn / Congrats, antichess is hard sometimes but go on and keep getting new and new achievements!
2000-2200: @UDITORIUM / This time u're included in the puzzle pack too but u also won in ur category
2200+: @Passionate_Player with an exciting endgame

And this month a "honourable mention" goes to @Pinni7 who again had a 3k v k win but with a sort of novelty cause his last pawn had a long way to promotion.

Sorry for a small delay, annotations to the winning games will arrive a little bit later. But for now I've already prepared puzzles from submitted and from my own games and also there are several positions suggested by @cFlour. Some puzzles represent October's events which took place in our antichess community such as ACWC and the thematic 1. a3 and 1. a4 arenas. What about topics, u can see a lot of endgame materials and ofc anti would be impossible without our favourite intermediate moves. So have fun and maybe learn something new:

It's not the end cause I've got a surprise: this month the winners will get prizes. @Burger_Nam @ew-pawn @UDITORIUM @Passionate_Player will recieve their patron wings on the 15th - say thx to @ChangeOpening. And as I can see @kdx2a and @bwmtone already have the wings but feel free to claim the prize when ur own wings expire - just message me or @ChangeOpening.

The new thread for November will be opened on the 22nd. We won't have separation with openings this time but if someone wants, they can also submit 2 games at once.

For now there's a puzzle pack with my own commentary (posted in the message above) but yes, there also will be another study with annotations to the winning games including urs. I will announce it soon and will ping u on the forum

Hello everybody again! As I've already said, in the message above u can see the puzzles from submitted games (all comments are made by me personally). But also I'm happy to finally announce the study with annotations to the winning games by @kdx2a @Burger_Nam @bwmtone @ew-pawn @UDITORIUM @Passionate_Player. Thx to @TheUnknownGuyReborn who's annotated the non e3 games and @cFlour (annotator for the e3 games). And without annotations we've added the game by @Pinni7 which got a "honourable mention".

As I can see, the winners have already received the patron wings - thx to @ChangeOpening for sponsorship and to @Kotov_Syndrome for solving technical issues. And the next month the champions will get prizes too.
