Atomic WC Timetable

Hi all,

I've had people ask me about dates for matches. At the time of writing there are 36 entrants: https://sites.google.com/site/atomicchesswc/entrants. Assuming we will start with more than 32 and less than 64 the following dates are the most likely:

11/09 Last day of entries
12/09 - 18/09 Qualification pairings & arrangements
19/09 - 25/09 Qualification matches
26/09 - 02/10 Round of 32 draw & arrangements
03/10 - 09/10 Round of 32 matches
10/10 - 16/10 Round of 16 arrangements
17/10 - 23/10 Round of 16 matches
24/10 - 30/10 Quarter final arrangements
31/10 - 06/11 Quarter final matches
07/11 - 13/11 Semi final arrangements
14/11 - 20/11 Semi final matches
21/11 - 27/11 Final arrangements
28/11 - 04/12 Final match

I'll allow the qualification matches to be played anytime from the time I announce the pairings. If all the qualification matches are completed within the first week then I will move this timetable forward by one week. There is no requirement for anyone in the qualification round to do this though.

Fantastic schedule Tipau! This will help people who are busy at times, (like myself) to be able to play on a day where he/she is free.

AND THE HOUR?

The time/hour of the match will be agreed between the players. This will happen during the 'arrangement' weeks if possible.
Each player should offer 3 possible times as per the rules.

dang it i missed the cutoff line for entry :(

@Deathmaster Just make sure to be watching for it next year. If this all goes smoothly, there's a chance it will become a yearly event.

Sorry if you didn't find out in time. I tried to pm as many eligible players I thought might be interested as possible but must have missed you. Maybe you were inactive when I went through the top list.
