My another option might be North Korea, since the relationship between North Korea and China is relatively good—but there are many restrictions in North Korea, such as foreign tourists having to use foreign exchange coupons instead of North Korean currency, having to choose one of the 28 officially approved hairstyles (18 for women, 10 for men), being prohibited from wearing blue jeans, and being required to have a guide present to visit attractions.
