Wouldn’t it be grand if we could all choose what country in which to live? Some just want get off the street. Bless them.

I've lived in both Canada and China. Good, bad and indifferent things about both. For myself, I could live to the end of my life in China; but for my kids and their futures, my wife and I chose Canada. So far so good.
I have visited England, Holland, France, and Germany. I would love to go back to Holland again. But there's so much living to do in all of them, one lifetime just isn't enough. I have also visited the USA, and I've had some positive experiences there. Don't think I would want to live there though. If I had to, I would prefer Minnesota or Michigan, the UP. Fewer people there, it's almost like Canada.
Places I haven't been to, but would love to go: the Scandinavian countries, Portugal, Greece, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan. But if I don't get there, I can still say I've lived well where I have been.
