Carlsen LOST. I delete my account. Good bye

@N4LL said in #1:

Carlsen lost his title in rapid and has now lost two games so he won't be able to defend his title in the blitz. I'm mentally depressed so it's over, I'm not going to play chess anymore. I kicked Carlsen from my fascination book

What is a fascination book?? Lol!

I hope you are mentally okay. Although I know you won't see this message, I want others to know to seek out help if you are going through depression or other mental problems. Talk with your family and friends, and if you can't do that, seek out your school counselor or a local psychologist.

Do not be stuck in depression.

Are you okay?! You just quit chess because of Magnus losing rapid title? Smh I think this is just a joke and you will create a second account soon

If chess teaches you anything then its that noone wins all the time. Learn to accept that fact of life, and you'll be able to pick yourself up after you fail, knowing that you can do better next time. That's what makes the champion more than a perfect record. Carlsen is worthy of respect and can inspire you because of that attitude. Watch how he deals with this defeat.

@N4LL Well done and thanks for reaching out and warning us of your departure. Let me be the first to thank you and concrats on following through with your threat.

I find it facnating that anyone could so seriously be invested in the outcome of anothers success is baffling to me. Again I applaud you for teaching me so much. Good day sir.

Chess attracts people of all ages. In youth we sometimes attach our fates strongly with an idol. Maybe we don't have such great role models closer to home. I think its an understandable human trait. If the idol falters it immediately puts into doubt the world view of such a person. I hope they can see that Carlsen is worthy of their respect and some level of emulation because he picks himself up after he doesn't reach his goals and learns what he did wrong, and improves that so he's stronger next time. Losing the crown in rapid doesn't end his career. He keeps on truckin'
